Isn't there a less expensive way to invite the CCP into your network? Like can't I download some app instead?
Network admins, is this a valid criticism of TP-Link?

I think they backed off of it this year, not for cause but to deescalate with Beijing.

"Routers" and L2 switches are the same thing, right? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

the CCP makes everything today, too late. I bet all CIA and FBI agents wear CCP made microphones.

TP-Link wasnt the only one on the FCC list. TP-Link was just brought up more since they're so popular. Netgear, Google, and Amazon (Eero) are more examples that are on the list. All of the other manufactures had their influencers specifically call out TP-Link to get their companies less coverage, and it worked. Fast forward your research to more recent news, you'll see mostly everyone has received an exemption and a longer period to get their act together.
