This is a great price. We just got ours "warrantied" by Vornado after a complete structural failure. The stress on the mount is a lot over time, with the button on top there..

Vornado told us they'd discontinued this fan, and offered a very reasonable credit with free shipping for any other fan we wanted.

Served us well. Easily the loudest fan we owned. $10 is a steal.

EDIT - ours was the slightly larger version.

I bought this last month for around $15 and returned this instantly to be replaced by a 20 inch box fan deal for just $5 more. I know it's not the same thing but the box fan was more versatile and better for my use case. My personal experience with a day of use with this - not much useful if you are more than 10 inches away from this fan.

I got one. It would be fine on a office desk or immediately next to you on a bed side stand but it's so small it's not really good at all if you are a few feet away from it without it on full blast.

I have the clamp-mount version of this, but in the larger size, attached to the headboard of m my bed. My wife sleeps hotter than I do, and this keeps her comfortable enough that she no longer cranks up the ceiling fan or air conditioning to the point that I wake up cold.

It sounds like it but my view of them is "air circulator" normally means it has a quiet mode or is just quiet by default so doesn't bother you being left on 24/7. Like this fan is great to just leave on in a bathroom, kitchen, electronics desk, etc to just keep air moving in the area if you live in areas where bathrooms/counters/dishes etc will just stay wet otherwise. They are relatively stylish so look alright to leave anywhere all the time.
