Ordered a pack. I hate when I wear white undershirts and you can see them through white dress shirts. Apparently this color helps

Yep, just checked and you are right, its 2.99. However is this the same heavy cotton version? Michaels have listed them separately

They are alright. Not nearly as good as Hanes "Beefy T". Sometimes those get down to about the same price per shirt on a good sale.

Also should mention the color linked in OP has increased in price, but a three pack of these Gildans is the same price for Dark Heather, but in large only

Yes, it's exactly the same material (they're both Adult Heavy Cotton G500 or G5000, which are the same thing depending on the vendor).

I have a few of these Adult Heavy Cotton G500/G5000... For $3 they're not bad, but I especially avoid them in the summer. They're not very breathable and are a bit rough on the skin. Don't expect them to be soft. Not sure I would go as far as to say they feel like sandpaper or a burlap sack, but they're not the most comfortable, especially in the summer

Received them today, and they're crap. Despite being marketed as "heavy cotton", the fabric is extremely thin and feels rough against the skin. Overall, the quality is very poor. Returning it even at such a price.
