I got it for 22$ , Target ymmv deal in February or march. Worth 30$ 100 percent. They still have updates and online play etc even tho it's a couple years old. Fun game if you're into this type of game!

Is this the one where originally they had the weird car upgrade system or maybe it was car class system? Then they put out a patch that reverted it back to the way all GT games were? That was a great triumph of a studio listening to their audience. Maybe that was GT6 but in any case I stand by this game because of that. And the awesome racing.

Why would it? It's cheaper on psn.

$29.39 on psn after a 58% discount after which it goes back to $70. But the point of my original comment is that Sony doesn't want physical media to exist anymore so they get to control prices for the games you have to buy. If it's $70, you have to buy it for $70. And can't even sell your game or lend it to a friend or anything like that. Physical media existing now makes Sony mad...

If you look at the price history, the physical also goes back to $70, so that's a moot point. Amazon is even out of stock of new copies. While you can't sell digital copy, which thank God I don't have to worry about instantly losing 50% of the cost and people low balling... You can not only lend it but you can both play at the same time. Something you can't do with physical. So, with digital, I essentially get 2 copies for the price of one. Been doing it this way for many, many years now.

How about you go compare the price of GT7 on psprices.com and then tell me if it's a moot point or not if Sony gets to control digital prices all by themselves. Amazon still has stock so idk wtf you're talking about. And some people would actually prefer to have the choice to sell their copies too rather than have them sitting in their digital library (which you're not even sure Sony is going to support on the next gen of consoles or not and can just take away from you at any time). It's all about having the freedom of choice as a customer and OWNING the product at the end of the day but you'd rather let Sony make the choice for you it seems. I do agree on the console sharing part like you described but that alone isn't enough to justify the erasure of physical discs.

Click the link, it literally says used. New from sellers that aren't Amazon, more than the price of this deal. Psn price history shows it goes on sale all the time, so, physical and digital have been the same. So yes, moot point. While Sony gets to control this price, that's not a blanket statement. The publisher actually decides the prices, even when a game goes on sale. So something like Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft decides, not Sony. There really is no reason Sony would just not make ps5 games compatible on ps6. And I don't expect them to take away the license for a game. I know that happened for some movies, but that likely works out differently. Until it starts happening consistently with video games, I'm not worried. I mean, I'm still playing ps3 games, Sony hasn't taken any of them. But having physical doesn't protect you as well. People often forget you don't own the game, the publisher owns the game. You own a license. If the company wanted to, they could make your disc useless too. Similar to what Xbox was planning with the Xbox one. Point is, don't bring your rants about their decision to a deal website. Keep that on reddit.

You can lend a digital copy of your game on PSN? Any game any platform? I've known about share play but lending it?
