For anyone unaware you can install Windows 11 and simply not activate it. No license purchase needed to run it. You lose a handful of features and every so often Windows 11 will pester you to activate I guess. Meanwhile Linux Mint is still free and if you don't game on your PC it's a perfect replacement. Heck many games will run under Linux now too if your video card drivers are available that is.

Run Massgrave script in Powershell. Then re-install Windows if you're worried about spyware. Windows will activate automatically after any re-installs.

I can somewhat understand buying grey market keys for Office, but for Windows don't bother wasting even a penny for that nonsense.

Unless you are in I.T. developing your own home enterprise and pay for server licenses (why?), then you have money to burn.
