Got one. Shipping was fast and it came with a pair of knit gloves. I appreciate its light weight and relatively compact form. Until I get our attic ladder replaced, this one will get me access to the attic. For reference, I weigh less than 130lbs. I think $50 is a good price for this sort of ladder. But I also think that for this format a taller ladder would be more useful. Still if you can't afford to pay more, this is nice to have

Yeaa I'd wait for a 12ft version. Since no matter the height, they take up the same amount of room so might as well go big with this.

I had one, different brand but the same type of random chinese brand. the way they work, each step has two locks. meaning there are dozens of failure points throughout the ladder. if just one of those locks snap, you're going down. I was luckily able to grab hold of something and avoid injury. got a refund from amazon and won't be chancing again, despite the design being very convenient for storage. unless maybe it was a reputable ladder brand
