Thanks! I've had this in my cart for about a year now, and was starting to lose hope after they raised the MSRP to $699.

Hoping it will be a good budget alternative to the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro.

wow. what an insane deal. everyone was convinced these would never go back down to 500, let alone clearance, again. i ended up buying a rectec, and im happy with it, but had i known, i would have waited and gotten this. this thing is super well respected in the pellet grill community. lots of really good features and quality for the price. only thing it is lacking is wifi, which most say is pretty overrated. and i would agree.

I've had multiple rectec ( because I love them , not for negative reasons) and I have been thinking about adding this. But I disagree with the WiFi statement, I use my WiFi all the time on my black edition bullseye . I get home power it up , set to full , go inside and start prepping dinner . Without going outside I can check the temp and also drop it down to my preferred cooking temp. Also on long / overnight cooks I use it all the time

Every one star review I see is related to shipping damage. It looks like if people get them undamaged, they like them.

This thing is insane value. If you want to go nuts you can replace the computer with something like the fan from combustion Inc. turning it into a real beast. Using a chunk of wood really amps up the smoke flavor.

The induction burner on the side is fine, but not really want you want outside.

Let us know if it comes completely ****ed or not. Every time I order something like this from Sam's or Costco and it comes from FedEx it is always beat to shit.

Guessing they clear stock and "redesign" each year cause the same thing happens with the flat tops.

Yeah, these are never packed wellEnough to survive FedEx's "fantastic shipping ability".

The previous version of this (which I had and took back) had all kinds of issues that included terrible temperature and setpoint calibration, rusting out of the inside and outside and "P" errors on the controller. I could never trust it to do low and slow cooks and the amount of time I spent looking "under the hood" was ridiculous. Sam's blew them out the clearnace door as the reviews continued to pile up (and presumably the returns). I'm not sure if history is repeating itself but here we are and whether you want to proudly roll that used grill up to the customer service desk...
