This is ok for a noobie that wants to switch a single total package sound one at a time, with the option to have an amp sound baked in.
And if you want the amp sound baked in and only use standard effects, I'd go with the Tonex bigger pedal at the same price point. It has midi so once you get more advanced it can instantly switch between 150 different patches. And the amp capture tech is as good as it gets. But more reliant on a computer when setting it up.
I also think the Tonex integrates with other pedals well. But isn't wonderful if your intent is to use it as effects only and run into a traditional tube amp.
The OS function and feel is clunky. The effects sound great though.
If I were to buy a small form factor, it would be the HeadRush for ease of use (touchscreen or computer monitor)
If you can save up and swing it, just get the Fractal. It is the way.
