Having seen how bad the creases look after a year on some friends foldable phones, I'm surprised anyone still buy these. All my friends with them regret the purchase.
Who cares? It's not like you're looking at the crease every time you're using the phone. It's like why do people keep buying the iPhone with that big notch? It's an even bigger eye sore while watching movies.lol

I have the fold 7 that I'm currently not using (will have to re-sell). The crease isn't that bad but I can imagine how bad it would look after a year. And then you have to consider the 4400 mah battery.. so you're paying $2000 for a device that has a tiny battery, is super fragile, and you'll lose half of your value after the first year.

And to top that off, the aspect ratio is horrible. You get about the same screen space watching videos on an ultra type 6.8" screen.

Prices for these foldables are too high and there are too many tradeoffs to make it worth while.

I'd suggest you all go through Costco mobile (AT&T), to get shop cards (new-line or upgrade) and some bill credits

Over a crease? 🙄 I've been using folding phones for over 6 years now and although I've had my issues with them, the creases have never been one. Even the worse creases I eventually don't notice it after a few days of usage. I'll never go back to a regular bar phone, even if the creases on a folding phone swallow me up 😄

Had the fold 3 and when the hinge messed up i was upgraded to the 5 the past year plus. Crease isn't too bad it was he inner screen protector that always starts to rise. If you pull it off and damage your phone it voids warranty. I've pulled it off about a year ago and no issues. Having a fold i wouldn't go back to a regular phone.

tried this with my zfold 5 or zfold 3 as a trade in only getting 1k max
I'm probably going to trade my 5 in anyway since it is no longer able to be under warranty. Started with the 3 and was upgraded to the 5.

I'd be hesitant to lock into a plan for 3 years to get a phone that is very unlikely to survive 3 years. But it does look like the plan options are much more reasonable than tmobile. Tmo plan to get this phone free is 100/month + tax.
Why? That's why you purchase warranty with it. When it messes up and are no longer made because they're 1 or 2 more models into it they upgrade you to the newer model for around $150.

We're gonna need more than $1900 since the iPhone fold is rumored to be close to $2,500 lol
