## Important:
This deal includes a **locked, eSIM-only Pixel 10, a new Mint Mobile line, and 12 consecutive months of service**. It is a phone-and-service bundle, not a collection of separate promotions that can be rearranged however you want.
The included eSIM must be activated **within 45 days of purchase**. You cannot store it indefinitely and activate it years later.
You may activate the included Mint eSIM on another compatible phone and use the new Mint number there. However, you **cannot use the 12 months to extend or "top off" an existing Mint plan while keeping your current Mint number**. This offer creates a new line unless you port in an eligible number from another carrier.
The Pixel itself must be activated on Mint before its 60-day unlock period begins. The safest option is to activate the eSIM on the Pixel and keep it active there for the full 60 days. If you activate the service only on another phone, the Pixel may remain locked because it never completed the required activation period.
For example, you should not expect to:
* Move your existing Mint number onto this promotion as a renewal
* Transfer the new number to an old phone or landline and still have the Pixel automatically unlock
* Divide the 12-month plan into twelve one-month plans and sell them separately
* Wait beyond the 45-day activation deadline
* Save the activation for years or decades
* Combine the deal with every other Mint discount, referral or promotion
If you move the eSIM away from the Pixel before it completes the unlock process, the phone may remain locked until it has been activated on Mint for the required period.
While locked, the Pixel should work with Mint and may also work with T-Mobile, although that is not guaranteed. It can also be used as a Wi-Fi-only device for Google Voice, other VoIP services, messaging, music, video, email and Android apps.
**Bottom line:** If you think there's some sneaky way to extend an existing Mint like, or immediately unlock the phone, or resell it for more then it might work - but it's not really part of this pretty good deal.

Is it possible to activate on my current unlocked phone and then when the Mint Pixel 10 comes I plan to sell it new/sealed?

Sure, but you need to mention the Pixel is locked to Mint for 60 days.
I'm still unsure if activating eSim on the Pixel and then transferring over immediately starts countdown or must be 60 continuous days of service on the device. Just say 60 days continuous to be safe required in description.
I suppose just turning on the phone won't activate it automatically, right?
They specifically say you need to activate it thru the Mint Mobile app or online so turning it on shouldn't automatically activate it

Edit: Answer seems to be yes from last week's thread, but still hoping for more concrete info if anyone can provide it

There is no place in the order process to specify new number, or port-in an old number. I want a new number, since I'm moving to a different state. Is this done in the activation process?
Thanks!
