This jump pack actually works well on a LOW battery so I'm happy with it for this price HOWEVER:

It obviously doesn't output anywhere near the claimed amps but it will start a 5.0L V8 with low battery pretty well.
Most cheaper jump packs will NOT work on a DEAD battery (a battery that has dropped below 9 volts output) and I didn't see any mentiton of this capability in the description so just be aware that this jump pack will probably only work if you battery is low where the car won't crank over but your headlights still work. If your battery is any lower, this pack will probably not work at all.

I'd suggest investing in a better jump pack that can start a totally dead battery. It is worth paying more for a better fully capable jump pack now and save yourself from massive frustration and disappointment in the future when one day you try to start your car and find out the cheap jump pack you bought for that exact situation doesn't actually work on a dead battery and you still have to waste hours waiting for a tow! Don't ask me how I know exactly how annoying that situation is.😡

We have several of this brand and they have all been fantastic. Did it start our 6 cyl = yesdid it start a 2500 ram Cummins diesel on a cold winter morning = no....But im buying yet another one as a gift for a loved one. Good deal for us.
