Works fine. The only issues I have noticed is occasionally the night vision/bw will be on during the day. I don't use them to talk back to others much or anything but it picks up audio ok. It's not a premium lens or anything. Good quality though but any distance items will be hard to make out details. Used for a few months now.

I spent hundreds of dollars on Eufy cam. They have this annoying habit of obsoleting their hardware by updating the firmware. It stops working on your network and all they say is to upgrade your hardware. fark Eufy. Switched everything to Tapo cam.

That's strange. I've had a solar eufy for 5 years, never had an issue with network stuff. After 5 years in the sun, it is pretty torched and the battery is no longer holding a charge. I think I will give this one a try.

I have a 6 year old Eufy wired doorbell and it still works fine. It doesn't have all the latest features and the "AI" is dumb as rocks but works like the day I bought it. It's probably one of the few companies I would keep buying from.

Just Google around. You will see complaints about it. Not everyone will get hit but I did and no more from me. Had enough times when I needed it working ie vacation when it failed on me.

I've had Eufy cams for 5 or 6 years and never had a problem with firmware updates. The only issue I've had has been detection. If you mount the cameras too high they are very slow to activate, if at all.

Does it take 20-seconds to "live view" like their other cams? Mine are notoriously slow to load

Not normally. Sometimes if there is some uploading in background and lots of alerts it can be delayed. Some of that may be interference from your router and the homebase. 2.4ghz band. Those Eufy Homebases do a terrible job with coexisting with other 2.4 networks. I had to mess with a bunch of settings and channels to get it in a decent position.
