In the last few years, Walmart has stopped selling their house brand artificial tears. They were not expensive and the were fine. And then... no more.
My wife uses artificial tears, and the market has been much more expensive in the last few years. So I am stuck. The major players have the magic polyymer, and they command a billion dollars per ounce of their heavenly essence.
I just hope that some competitor discerns the magic polymer and resumes sales in dollars per ounce.
In the meantime, the existing producers enjoy a market where customers with dry eye problems pay billions of dollars and their life savings for a few day's of clear vision.
