I recommend buying a nice padded leather strap and use rubber flex strap locks that look like donuts. Ernie ball, daddario and fender makes these and are much better. I recommend getting these both instead. Cheaper and very useful for holding the cable. I use the harder plastic one for the strap button on the butt of the guitar and flex strap on top horn. Never had an issue of the buttons popping off or guitar falling.
