Once I got my first GrooveLock pliers from Irwin, I don't want to go back. They have a lot more options for sizing, and are quicker to adjust.

My one experience with purchasing Kobalt tongue and groove pliers is that the casting was so rough, they couldn't extend to the widest setting. The tongue and groove wouldn't mesh. Took them back
