Wow this is a good deal, I signed up yesterday for an alert, lucky. Yes there are cheaper 5080 laptops out there but there is NOTHING, no other laptop in this form factor out there and for the price.

btw the 5080 in the g14 is a bit power nerfed but thats normal in any other 14 like device i believe. if you can do it, getting a 16" g16 open box 5080 might be a better option. I bet a full powered 5070ti in the bigger chasis would be almost the same too if not potentially better due to efficiency!

Anyone know how reliable this platform is?
I really like this form factor but I have had two Asus desktop motherboards fail as well as one asus laptop motherboard and am extremely skeptical of buying another one but this is really the only 5080 14 inch laptop worth buying as far as I can tell.

I am just going to guess the vast majority of people don't have their motherboards fail... those are very specific issues my man
