I'm not sure what you mean when you say the keyboard is all messed up. I would recommend you open your laptop, turn it over and lightly tap the bottom of the keyboard. Sometimes dirt and crumbs get under the keys and cause them to mess up. But of course your problem might be worse than that.

My keyboard is crummy but not crummy if you get my meaning lol.

I'll try to type "m" but nothing will happen. I'll hold down the "m" key for a minute and still nothing and then all of the sudden 20 m's will show up and I'll have to delete 19 of them. There's something wrong with every sentence I type (besides the obvious) and I have to constantly go back to correct things. The computer is a HP and around 2 years old. I've never liked it and I don't want to buy another HP but the deal on the 17" is pretty good (more than 50% off).

My UFC Las Vegas 118 reaction

1. Belal should retire. He had a good run but now he's just going to be a punching bag for young fighters like Bonfim.

2. I wasn't impressed with Brendan Allen. He's not ready for a title fight.

3. I had Ziam winning over Nolan but Nolan was a 3 to 1 dog so...

4. The UFC should cut Junior Tafa.

5. I like having a card every week but I don't need 6 hours or more. Cut the filler fights and just give us quality match-ups. I'd be happy with 6 fights on the card.

Is anybody collecting the FIFA soccer cards?

I saw on the SD frontpage that Target has the Beats headphones on sale for $160 (reg price $350). Is this a good deal? I don't know anything about Beats other than they have something to do with Jay-Z and Apple.

I do know what you mean. My current laptop is past its expiration date, so the fact that there are certain keys that don't work the first time is at least more understandable. I have also found that using the compressed air helps mine, but I am not a good person to give an opinion on a new laptop when I'm using one that I think we bought in 2013!

I have a really bad habit of eating while I'm on the computer so I'm partially responsible for how crummy my computer is.

My Lenovo is 5 years old. About 6 months ago my cde3 keys stopped working when I first start up the laptop. I pound and pound on those keys. Once I get them unstuck it seems ok until it gets restarted. I will eat around my computer but I got a keyboard cover to prevent crumbs getting stuck. I thought maybe it was the cover that caused the issue but a google of my computer plus the issue shows me that it is a common issue with my model (and it seems Lenovos in general).

I got the keyboard cover because I wore the writing off of my last couple of computers. This has prevented that from happening.

Maybe try googling your issue if you havent yet. I know thats a basic piece of advice but it is something I will often neglect if I am having an issue. Also wondering if an external keyboard is an option for either of us.

That's really good advice. I ran the keyboard troubleshooter and virus scan and my computer is ok but I still can't type. I don't want to spend $350 on a new computer but I'll get a bigger screen (which will be great) and much better performance. Since I stream so much, I think it's worth it. The only thing holding me back is that I'm always going to eat while I'm on the computer. I don't think that my problem is crumbs. My keys aren't sticking. The only way that I can get a "m" to print is to hold the key down for 20 seconds but it's not just the m key that I'm having a problem with. I'll hit the other keys but nothing will happen and it's random on which key doesn't work.

Mine is very consistent that it is the c, d, e and 3 that wont work until I shake things loose in there. It seems like I am always needing a c, d and e though so it is a big PITA. Why cant it be the zaq1 stack, I use them much less. lol

I ended up buying a new computer. I got a 17" HP laptop with an Intel chip. It was on sale for $399 (reg price $899 - inflated, of course) and I got them to take another $40 off so I was pretty close to my target price of $350. I wanted to get the warranty but it was $299.99 for 4 years so I had to pass. I can't wait to watch the UFC White House card on Sunday on my new 17" screen but I might not be able to. I'm supposed to go to the hospital tomorrow. I've been having stomach issues for around a week. I thought it was because of a new med I'm taking but the doctor said that wasn't it. I have a large abdominal hernia that they can't operate on because of my heart and when I touch it I get a jolt of pain so my doctor told me to go to the ER. I hope I don't need another surgery. I had obstructed bowel surgery 8 years ago and it was a lot to go thru. My recovery took a year and I was in pain the whole time. I ended up having 3 surgeries and I was in the hospital for a month.

Do you think it's fair to punish the UFC fight fans like me because of Trump? I don't support Trump and I don't think that the card should be held at the White House but I still want to see the fights. I'm not willing to stop watching the UFC because Dana decided to get political. It's time for Dana to go but he's made it abundantly clear that the UFC doesn't care what the fans think. It's hard to switch sports when there isn't an alternative. What am I going to watch, soccer?

The UFC White House card is being paid for the UFC. Dana White has said that it will cost 60 million and the UFC will take a 30 million dollar loss.
