Are you serious? Prices are that high in restaurants now? And I thought that KFC was expensive lol.

The French Open has had some great tennis matches and there was another one today but it was ruined by Sabalenka's grunting. I had to turn the sound off so the neighbors wouldn't think I was watching a porn movie. I haven't heard anybody grunt so much since Monica Seles.

I looked it up and Sabalenka has been penalized for excessive grunting. I didn't hear her grunt in the match she played before this one. Maybe they turned the court sound off. Her grunting is a real bummer because she's a great player but I'll skip her matches in the future.

I used to eat a lot of fast food but since covid the prices have doubled and everything is an app deal so I hardly ever go. I hate app deals. I'd much rather go to the fast food place and do my order while I'm there. I get my burger with either only cheese or only mustard and it's a pita filling out the form and they get it wrong half of the time. I would've gone to KFC tonight if it wasn't for the app. They have a 6 piece tenders with 4 biscuits for $10 and there's a $1 deal on a large side (for orders of $10 or more). It's more than I can eat but I haven't been to KFC in probably 3 years. I went to Vons instead and made dinner myself. My cardiologist would be happy with me for not going to KFC but I'm kinda bummed. I'm not the greatest cook lol.

It's on the intercom (audio only). I've never seen the tv version of the Shingles commercial but I think there is one. Vons should be fined a million bucks for torturing it's customers with that damn commercial. Over and over again. It's non-stop. It's all a money grab for the pharmaceutical company.

That's what I meant - Netflix is brain dead. Maybe it was canceled because it doesn't have a political or social agenda. It's just a good tv show. I've been critical of it in the past but that's because I was comparing it to Mayor of Kingston. Lincoln is much better than 99% of the shows on Netflix.

I'm not saying that Shingles isn't a real thing. it's a horrible disease. We just don't need to hear the commercial over and over again.

Sabalenka gets a lot of love on the net especially from reddit. The people who complain about her grunting are branded as haters. I'm a casual fan. I might watch a couple of tennis matches a year. I didn't know who Sabalenka was until the French Open. I was shocked when I heard all of that grunting. It seriously sounded like porn and I turned off the sound. I find it hard to believe that some people want her to get cancer because of the grunts. I'm not going to watch her matches. That's it. I don't see why it would go beyond that.

Do you have a Vons? I live next door to one so I do most of my grocery shopping there. Every now and then I'll go to Ralphs or Walmart but that's only if I borrow a friend's car. They're too hard to get to by bus and they're out of my walking range. Walmart is a 6 mile round trip with a steep uphill at the end of the walk. I did it a couple of weeks ago but it was too much for me especially with carrying a bag of groceries home.
