Yes to all of that, but even crazier, she and her mom were speaking some form of pig latin when she asked her mom to say she had a seizure. That in and of itself is pretty weird too.

I'm home from the hospital now. I passed out over the weekend from something very similar to what Mackenzie claims to have. I don't buy her explanation for a second. She must've had the whole thing planned out before that night. I don't understand why the judge didn't give her the maximum sentence.

The advantages of being deaf.

Had free tickets to a comedy show on Saturday. Venue had a no cell phones out during show sign so I asked if I could use my phone for live captions so I could know what is going on, the ups and downs in volume with clapping, etc. is not great for my hearing aids. They said yes. I am guessing they let the comic know. There was another blonde woman sitting opposite me and she didnt seem to be enjoying the show, she wasnt really reacting at all. The comic starting talking about her being deaf. Maybe it was one hell of a coincidence but I am glad it wasnt me. So, some drawbacks to being deaf too. lol

BTW, I dont expect that the Peacock offer will allow you access to Apple TV at the promo rate. Just stating that I really dont expect the promo rates to get better in the future due to this partnership. Maybe free Apple TV subscriptions for buying an apple device may start to include Peacock but that is hardly a deal unless you are needing a new device and apple faithful anyway.

Peacock has baseball but I doubt that I'd watch it. I would get Peacock if they had tennis. I watched the 5 hour men's match last night. It was incredible. It went back and forth so much that didn't know who was going to win until the very end.

Here are my picks for the UFC White House card. If you bet opposite of me, you'll do fine because I'm always wrong.

Topuria vs Gaethje - Topuria

Gane vs Pereira - Gane

O'Malley vs Zahabi - Zahabi

Ruffy vs Chandler - Ruffy

Nikal vs Daukhaus - Nikal

Hokit vs Lewis - Hokit

Lopes vs Garcia - Garcia


Gaethje has the size but Topuria has the skill - skill wins.

Gane gets a lot of criticism for his eye pokes and quick loss to Jones but he can fight and he'll be too much for Alex.

Zahabi gets the upset win.

Chandler is washed up and Ruffy is a killer. Bad night for Chandler.

Nikal has been a disappointment so far in the UFC but maybe he gets a good win here.

Hokit is cringe but he's also a very good fighter.

Garcia will ko Diego.

Netflix cancelled The Night Agent and The Lincoln Lawyer. Netflix comes out with 700 new shows a year but 690 of them are bad. I wonder why they cancelled two good ones.

I went to Vons this morning and guess what they were playing - yep, the Shingles commercial. Vons plays the Shingles commercial more than anyone even CVS. Come on, Vons, give us a break. Nobody wants to hear this stupid commercial over and over again.

Dominos is really bad, too. They were playing the same commercial twice in the same break. Like once isn't enough lol. Note to Dominos - the "mmm" isn't working. Take it out and the commercial wouldn't be that bad.

I tried to watch The Verdict on Netflix which is a 3-part series about the Michael Jackson child abuse trial. I hated it. The experts were all for the prosecution which would've been ok if they had anything insightful to say. One lady kept on talking about her notebooks like they should be in the Smithsonian. I had to skip thru it (because it was so boring) and I'd say there's maybe 10 minutes of content worth watching. Yes, I think Michael did it but I absolutely hated the way the documentary presented the information.

Some restaurants are now pricing every side an exorbitant price. The entree is stand alone. Went to a family event in TX (where things are supersized anyway) but entrees started at $45, sides were all $18 ea, salads also $18. Desserts were $20. Everything was delicious, but the totals were high.

Even the less expensive places have cut portions and raised prices. Kids meals are the prices that adult faire used to be. It's taking the joy out of dining out.
