Hey MD, the same thing is going on with your posts that went on with Missusg's posts a couple of weeks ago. I've replied 3 times but it deletes it. I'm not able to take the gummies while I'm on amiodarone and metoprolol and I also can't get clearance from the cardiologist for the dentist. Taking away the gummies means that I don't have anything for the dental pain. It's almost impossible to get a Norco prescription even if you're in severe pain. They gave me a starter dose of 6 of the 5 mg's when I was discharged from the hospital. I need 10 mg for dental pain so I only have 3 doses. I should be able to take what I want (within reason) and not have to beg the doctor for it. I don't enjoy Norco as far as getting high. It's only for pain. I was just in the hospital for 8 fricking days. Obviously, I'm in pain.

The UFC main event from Australia just ended and it was really something. I got lucky and tuned in right when it was starting. I got confused because of the time difference between Australia and Cali. I thought that the main card started at 7am but it must've started at 4. Oh well, I got to see the fight that I wanted to see. Can't wait for next Saturday's fight. Strickland won't make it out of the first round. Strickland has done an awful job of promoting the fight. All of the stuff about fighting Chimaev before the match is just dumb. Why would you get yourself hurt and throw away a big paycheck? He'll have 25 minutes on Saturday to kick Chimaev's ass if he can do it. I'd be shocked if Strickland wins but he's done well in the past as an underdog.

I'm doing better now but I had a rocky morning. I wanted to go to the hospital but the bus didn't come. They probably changed the bus schedule for Saturday and haven't updated it yet. It looks like another hospital trip on Monday morning. It seems like I'm at the hospital more than I'm home.

I'm sorry to hear being in the hospital didn't help you more.

I don't have SD on my phone anymore and am out of town helping my nephew who had back surgery last week, so have had limited time to check anything online.

I hope you're able to get the help you need soon.

Thank you for your concern. I had a 2 hour period yesterday where I was in a lot of trouble but I'm better now. I was just sitting there totally spaced out. I'm very pissed about the bus not coming. It's a 3 hour wait between buses because the hospital is in a different city and I couldn't do that. The bus stop is in the middle of nowhere and I had to pee. There was also no guarantee that the next bus would come. There was some kind of event going on at the mall and the streets were closed off. The bus stop is behind the mall and that street was open. The local bus came but it wasn't the one I needed. I almost got on the local one to go to a different bus stop for the county bus but if I had I might've been stranded. I could've figured something out when I got home but I wasn't thinking very well. I snapped out of it at around 5. I have to go to the hospital on Monday morning because I still have the medical condition that I was being treated for. I'm in VT and AFib at the same time. I can get to a local hospital by walking but they don't have my cardiac info and I don't like the care there. I'm better off to wait unless I'm coding or something.

For some reason, your post made me think of Dr Wu by Steely Dan although I'm still not sure what the song means. I don't know if Katy is a drug or a person and if there really was a Dr Wu or if he's a metaphor for medicine but it's a really great song no matter what. It captures in music what despair is all about.

I am sorry friend. Given the new cardiac issues I would be hesitant to suggest anything. Just curious, are you going to Cedars?

I used to love Taco Tuesday at Baja Fresh. Tacos were $1.99 and I would get the chicken ones with the extra hot salsa. Yum. Now the tacos are probably $10. Baja Fresh has gone up more than anyone. The last time I was in there, a bean and cheese burrito was $10. It's maybe worth half of that.

It's not often that we get a press conference where a fighter kicks the other fighter in the nuts at the face-off, Dana White admits to being a sociopath, and a reporter asks the dumbest question in the history of sports media. I can't wait for the fight on Saturday. I still think that Chimaev will win but I'd be very happy if Strickland pulls an upset.

I tried to watch the 2026 version of Lord of the Flies on Netflix but I was bored out of my mind. Yellowjackets was much better (the teen storyline in the wilderness, the adult storyline when they got back was awful).

Another insane press conference from the UFC. All I can say is it's a good thing that Alex Pereira didn't understand what Josh Hokit said and Ilia Topuria should pitch for the Dodgers. The kid at the end was awful but maybe he has terminal cancer or something. Dana White should've said what was going on. I hope the kid isn't an owner's entitled son because it would really piss me off.
