Not really. The doctors got my vital signs up to where they could release me but in order to do it I have to take a bunch of drugs that make it so I can't breathe and pass out.

Sorry you had such a bad week. Seems last you wrote, you were having a hard time even getting a way (bus?) to go to the hospital. I guess you at least found a way to get there. Was that a good thing or might it have better to not go at all? I try to avoid doctors, hospitals, etc., as much as possible. Most of the time I feel like they have no more of an idea of what's happening/going wrong than I do so why bother?

The latest idea the doctor offered me was to see 'sports medicine' to get a cortisone shot in my knee to help with arthritis pain. The last one (not my first) I got in my back in 2021 has me using a walker (for stability) since. Can't imagine what one would do to my knee. No, thank you.

Anyway, I hope you are doing better.

Oh no! Try to sit or lay down if you think you are going to pass out so you don't hurt yourself.

Considering all that's happened to me in the last 3 years, I'm very lucky to be here. My options now are to take the drugs and feel awful or go off of them and get a blood clot.

Mayor of Kingstown had another great episode but Landman was painful to watch. Landman has so much potential to be a great show but Taylor Sheridan wants to make it all about T & A and it doesn't work.

I thought that USA had the most commercials but A&E takes the cake. There's a commercial break every 3 minutes. Even if the show is good, it's impossible to get into it. I got an offer from Hulu which is $2.99 a month for 6 months. I want to do it but I can't handle all of the commercials.

I got caught in a downpour this morning. It looked like the rain had let up so I took a chance and tried to make the short walk to Vons. I got halfway there and the sky burst open and it started pouring. I ran for cover and waited 10 minutes for it to let up but it didn't so I said what the hell and went to Vons. I got soaked. It was a worse decision than Jake Paul made by fighting Anthony Joshua. At least I'm home now and can jump in the jacuzzi.

Wishing you all the merriest of Christmas' if you celebrate. And if you're feeling bad about the holiday situation you're in, just remember this is Thursday and tomorrow is Friday. I saw this in another group and somehow it makes me feel better since it's our first year without family around.

We're watching football on Netflix and there are commercials, but at least it tells you how long the commercial break will be, which I like.

I've seen more than 10 minutes on USA but I guess that commercials make the world go round. I've found that Netflix is very good about not having too many commercials but some of the recent shows I've seen have quite a few. I hope it's not a trend.

With the drugs, I wasn't expecting any of this. I went to the ER three weeks ago because I was feeling very weak and all I could do was lay in bed all day and watch tv. I didn't know that I was having a heart attack and my stent was closing. If I had known that they were going to put a new stent in when they did the angiogram, I would've considered a DNR and not had anything done. I'm not upset about it but it put me on this course of feeling miserable and having to take 20 drugs a day. Yes, I'm going to live longer because of what they did but is it worth it when my quality of life is zero? I don't know the answer to this question. I guess that each person has to decide. I should say that I've had a long history of heart problems including a CABG three years ago and multiple heart attacks since then.

Hope you were able to enjoy the day at least somewhat. Good idea to remember tomorrow will be another new day.

My husband and I are currently living in the same city in MN as our only child (son who is a confirmed bachelor) so it's just the three of us, but still so much better than some past holidays. We had him over yesterday and today! When we lived in PA (for almost 20 years), most holidays were just the two of us or sometimes just myself if my husband happened to be traveling for work which as a salesman he did quite a bit. Probably my worst Christmas holiday was one year when due to illness I was unable to travel to MN but I still talked my husband into going by himself so the two guys could celebrate together. I did some crying that year but things so far have had a way of working out and getting better.

Anyway, hope you had an okay day and hope for a better tomorrow and 2026!
