Agreed, not a slick deal. The original price is well over inflated. There has been better deals in the recent past. At this price it should be a 4ah but if you want the 2ah for weight reduction, I guess.... To each their own.

Did you mean $149, which is one of the current black friday deals that comes with another tool (?). $49 for 2 x 4ah not paired with something else would be a heck of deal and not a normal situation.
A 2ah battery with charger is sort of a weird pairing. Not a bad price, but not a blowout either.
