The PS3 shop is still open. It's slow and buggy, even moreso than it used to be, but you can still go there and buy/download games. They backtracked their plan to shut it in 2021 and it's been open since with no new announcements on closure.

Thanks for the heads up! Since the full game is on the disk, I don't worry if they close on any PS4 servers. I think the price ain't bad considering the switch version is a bit more expensive.

That depends on how much inventory sits around and how much Amazon wants to move it. I have a feeling that capcom didn't mass produce that game like MvC collection.

I think capcom overcompensated on how much this would sell for full price and this time they adjusted with capcom fighting collection 2.

I had a feeling after the nostalgia purchasers this game stagnated and talking to people who play these games online regularly have told me the player base has dropped a lot.
