Can anyone comment on the quality of this unit? I know nothing about pressure washers but I could use one for cleaning house vinyl siding, roof moss, sidewalks, vehicle undercarriages, and other various DIY home-based non commercial things, thanks for any help. HD reviews don't look great, if this is not great does anyone have a recommendation on a good quality pressure washer for these types of home tasks?

At this price/pressure/flow you should just get a $100 electric one from any number of MFG. Ryobi, Craftsman, Greenworks etc. They all have a 1700/1900 1.2 GPM model. This will be fine for most small tasks and car washing. However large surfaces like concrete driveways are going to go _slow_. The flow is also a bit slow.
For light duty the next step up would be a high flow model like the 1.8GPM Ryobi for $150. This is as good as it gets for automotive washing. The extra flow really helps.
If you really want to clean thousands of sq feet of driveway in a reasonable time you're going to need a gas power pressure washer.
soon they will introduce electrical 3400 PSI one with 0.3GPM. those ratings are pretty useless considering how they market them, having 2400PSI for a second down to 1600 right away with sacrificing GPM rate for it, is deceitful for sure.
Forget this, get the Cat 2200 from Sam's for $83. Just got mine yesterday and put it together this morning. It's a beast! Works great blasting dirt off my patio. Looks so white now, can't believe how much dirt had built up over the last few years. The Cat rolls easy on the big wheels, has great pressure, whole machine is built great. I don't think your gonna notice 200 more psi, if it even really hits that number.
