It's kind of an older tool, Dewalt just released a 20v multi head drill / driver that does the same thing with more options. But this is a real handy tool, just a little old and probably not something that will ever be refreshed. Probably worth getting if your a Dewalt tool collector.
You can get right angle attachments that work just as good in the rare instances that you need it.
Unless you have a repetitive use case for one of these its really not worth the money or bag space to carry it around. Get one of the right angle drill attachments.

I have the 12max multi head tool, which is smaller than the 20v, and it still wont fit where this would, because with the mutli head tools (or using a 90 degree attachment) you still lave that built in 90 with the drill/handle. Anyway you look at it, it's a right angle on a right angle. Still, I've been looking at this all day trying to justify it. I finally pulled the trigger because hey, it's a deal and I don't already have one, lol/
