These dont have a cable alignment channel....i know they have a specific tool that shoots those staples with the plastic covers on them, but dang...every manual stapler i've used has one of them.

different purpose - this one will overdrive staples and crush your cable. Milwaukee uses different kind of staples for securing wires.

Nice, I've been looking for this, as well as the 23 gauge pin nailer. Hopefully that one will go on sale soon.

Glad this deal is helpful! Unlike some other Milwaukee tools, this particular set doesn't go on sale very often. I think this might be the first time this year (2025).

Hackable here. Upfront cost is $130, stapler ends up being $67.

Wait, so this stapler CAN be used for cables, with special staples? Or cannot and there is a different stapler for cables from them?

securing cables isn't what the Crown Stapler is for.

Thank you, hadn't seen that model before. Looks like thats more for romex or something larger. I was kinda looking for something for Ethernet, X-mas lights, low voltage wiring, etc.

Yeah this tool isn't meant for cables, but... nothing stops you from using it with cables. I have some string lights i put up under the deck and I used this to good effect. What I did was wrap the cable with some blue tape as a protector and i used a number of staples at each anchor point. it works but since there is no alignment guide i did punch a few cables unfortunately.... I took them out... it's fine...
I think I may try to design and 3d print some kind of guide that clips on that helps center it on a cable. since it is only 3/8 wide you do not have a lot of wiggle room there.
