The built in straw is great when driving so I don't need to tilt my head and hit the ceiling and the ability to just drink without the straw at any time without adjusting anything is nice when you want it. I also like the locking lid so it's safe in a backpack and the insulation keeps it cold enough for me, although if that's your priority there are other bottles that do it better.
My only real issue is that the base is pretty wide so it doesn't fit into cup holders easily. The good news is that if it fits in the car you use 99% of the time it probably doesn't matter too much and you can find generic cup holder adapters if that's a deal breaker.
