I compared the V15 at Costco and Best Buy last year and ended up purchasing from Costco, mainly because of Costco's return policy. It also came with more accessories than the Best Buy version.
However, if I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Best Buy version. For me, the lighted crevice tool and low-reach adapter (under furniture) in the Best Buy package are much more useful than the standard crevice tool and the up-top adapter in the Costco package. Also, many of the 'extra' Costco accessories have gone unused.

What extra accessories do you find in costco version than the BB version?

Mainly different types of smaller brushes. I recommend looking at both listings and compare them. Each listing has a photo of the included accessories.

I ended up going for the one @ Best Buy despite Costco's return policy (and potential similar price soon).. these do come with a 2yr warranty at least, although would be nice if it were 5 for such a pricy product, even @ this price.
Dysons seem to have great longevity if you don't abuse them. I have a V7 Fluffy that's almost 5 years old now, it's been great since about half my floors are hard flooring, but I've wanted a carpet motor head because I do still have some carpet.. some observations side-by-side:
V7 Fluffy's head is still great at hard floors, but the new V15 detect head is on a whole other level - it's shorter/lighter/more compact so it can fit into tighter spaces, and it's hard to overstate how useful the laser is in spotting debris on hard floor. It's also just a satisfying effect as you go along - like a damp sponge cleaning a chalkboard. Makes you want to clean more, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
The new laser detect 'fluffy' head works fully & perfectly fine with the older V7
Carpet: V7 fluffy without a motorhead was obviously not super useful on carpets, loose surface debris, sure.. deep clean, absolutely not. V15 is on a whole other plane of existence, pretty sure the carpet motor head on it is more effective than my old plug-in Dyson Ball stand-up vac.
The new carpet motor head from the V15 does not work with the older V7.
Small motor brush: Old V7 one worked fine, new corkscrew head seems more aggressive and it's apparently great at rejecting hair/string/fur/etc. tangles
Crevice tool: This V15 @ BB comes with the lighted tool. Light doesn't work when used with the V7.
'Fancy tech' - V15 wins hands down.. with its screen and debris sensor, you get more information (incl a 'countdown timer' for the battery) and the vac itself can adjust power based on the debris it's actively picking up
I still technically need to let the V15 do a full charge, but I have used it a few times already, pretty happy so far.
I might give away my V7 now, but I'm probably going to keep the flexible extension that it came with.

Got the Dyson v12 but returning it to Walmart because it has no headlamp light. It picks up all dust etc great but not being able to see the floor you'll definitely miss some dust etc. (as my Shark could see)
I talked to Dyson and they just said sorry and return it. I told them you can't leave out a headlamp for the user to see dirt/dust for crazy avid vacuum fanatics like myself.

Does it have a headlamp or light to see in the dark? Does the laser act as a light to see?
Just need one to see so I can get every bit of dust/dirt. Just retured Dyson v12 because it lacks a light.

Did you even read what I wrote? Maybe watch some reviews and do some research (heck, even just view some of their marketing material on the product page) before buying something that doesn't meet an apparent 'dealbreaker' requirement of yours like having a light... it's kind of an entitled/abusive move to just buy a product to 'try' it.

Yes did but didn't think I seen any comments on a light? I light is a major plus to owning a vacuum. I own 11 vacuums and for Dyson not to add a light is crazy.
I'm confused about this deal. The regular price shows 499.99 and the deal price shows 500. How did something 1 penny over regular price make it to a FP deal???

Edit: I ordered it. I feel that the floor brush with a laser would be more beneficial than the other one.
