Amazon has this on sales for PrimeDay. This is solar powered wifi camera with Homebase 3 unit. I have the 4-camera version that I bought last week and so far so good. Application is decent and recordings are good. I like that there is no monthly fee or subscriptions.

I bought these 3 weeks ago and Eufy just price matched. Excellent cameras. They do require ~ 4 hours of sunshine per day to be at 100%. Video quality is great and way better than any Arlo below their 4k.

Reviews seem to be great on these, the solar is definitely nice considering I dont wanna do a PoE setup anytime soon lol

And the distance between base station and the camera can be pretty long. Mine is going through brick walls and is about 75ft away from the station, and works with no issues. It's always fun seeing the chart to learn how much solar energy the cameras get. Also, remember not to install it in the shady area. I have one camera getting only 2hrs of sunlight, but still sits at 92% in a high traffic area.

For those looking for it on Amazon - the 3 bundle still exists but has its own listing that ships with a 2 pack Set + 1 Extra camera. I guess they're out of inventory for the stand alone 3 pack set.

Eufy claims 2 hours per day of direct sun. More the better obviously. I bought this kit and live in Florida so it shouldn't be an issue year round.

Dollar for Dollar, this is the best kit price. They have the add on cameras on sale for $150, and adding another camera is still $20 cheaper than their 4 camera bundle.

I bought them specifically for the solar charging and the hopes that they follow through with adding HomeKit secure video support. I also have 4 eufycam 2s that will still work with the new HomeBase 3 which is great. I think the old HomeBase only supported like 4 cameras and you couldn't upgrade the storage. New HomeBase supports up to 16 cameras and 16TB of storage with a 2.5" HDD.

One of the review say it only records when it detects motion? For example it doesn't record when an Amazon driver is coming, only when they're leaving.

Anyone with it can confirm?

I don't have this eufycam, but a different solar one. My camera is able to detect when people walk to my driveway or get out of their cars.
