Only 18" deep others in this price range are 24". Wider the tool box less likely they will tip over with drawers open.

I didn't see it on the floor when I went to look. I would assume it's similar to the Craftsman 2000 line in comparison? I opted for one from Home Depot that was the same size but instead 24" depth and free shipping to my door. That was about $60 more for me after discounts.
Do you have a link to the one you bought?

I think my son in law would love this. It also lookls prerty sturdy.
You sound like an amazing father in law. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm jealous. Enjoy as much time with your family while you can. I lost my mom last year to Parkinson's. I gave up college and a career to take care of her because she required 24/7 care and it was clear that nobody else was able or willing to give her proper care. I find myself in my 30's now w/my most significant experience, being a caretaker, being of no use or interest to any sort of career path, and no degree to fix that to begin with. It's very weird starting at square 1 in your 30's w/no idea where you're going and a decade worth of neglected self care needs that we're sideline for my mom, but as hard as it is and as thankless as it was and remains…I'm glad I got to spend time with my mom in a way nobody will ever get to now. She was an amazing woman. Anyway rant aside, spend time with your family, life is too short and these diseases are infinitely worse than we think they are, you simply can't capture the horror on tv or movies, the only answer is to spend time together like tomorrow isn't guaranteed.

If you don't have that many tools this a good deal. Make sure you go to the store to see the sizes. 18 inch depth is small when you see a 25 inch depth. Sometimes it's better to spend more and go bigger. I went with a 52inch husky with a 25" depth drawer and it fits a lot.

46inch 25 inch depth Husky are only $100 more if your able to pickup at HD store.

How's this compare to the harbor freight Yukon tool bench? Same size. Look extremely similar. I have a 25% off unique code they send me
Monthly and been wanting to grab one for about $315 but I don't think they have stock currently.
I looked at both in person and went with the Kobalt. It's much better quality. The rails on the Yukon sucked and the soft-close on the Kobalt are much smoother and nicer. Very happy with the quality.

I have this in silver and black. Bought it almost two years ago.

I don't have many tools as I store my basic tool box in there and my reloading equipment. When closing the drawers, sometimes they get hung up so you have to push them close from the middle and not the edges. Could get annoying at times but I would still buy it again

Jokes aside, why is RED version so much more expensive?
