Help! Just bought my husband a corned beef platter at Shoprite (was in the 50% off but 'cause it's night-time and it says eat by the 19th). It is brownish so he won't eat it. He says it should be pink. I am vegetarian so I don't have any idea. Internet says brown is a New England corned beef variation but he won't eat it. Thoughts?

Interested in the "Coke (products) 12pk cans 3 for $15). Anyone buy Fresca? My SFH shows the 12pk cans as 3 for $15, also, but paper ad does not show Fresca as a brand.

I realize different products can be under Coke, in different areas.
Listed in ad are Coke, Seagram's, Sprite, Barq's, and Fanta.

Onllne, Dr Pepper also 3/$15 or $7.29ea (as the others) . In fact on the soda page, they show an EQ for Dr Pep cans, but its not on the list of EQ's on Digital page. Tried hovering over it on soda page to get an idea of $ off, but doesn't do anything. Maybe a mistake ? or did they reach their quota and remove the EQ?

ETA Just did Google search "Fresca is a registered trademark of Coca Cola Bottling Company"

Dr. Pepper, however is part of the "Dr. Pepper Snapple Group". Dr Pepper has always varied in being included in deals. I remember discussing it online here many times. I think it depends on the area and who bottles it at the time.

Fresca is usually included, Marcia. Everywhere I've seen it, it's a Coke product.

Typically because of the nitrates used in the pickling process Corned Beef is a pink color similar to ham which would be gray without the nitrates/nitrites.
If it was store made and the use by date is not up it ought to be safe to eat but some people are finicky when it comes to food. Tell him be a big boy and taste it at least, if not my dog loves Corned Beef

I told him I posted about it on Slickdeals. We looked it up and it said there are regional differences (brownish in New England). Everybody has their issues when it comes to food.
I had a father who was hard working teamster and came home and wanted steak and potatoes for dinner often. My mom bought steak for the family. I would always disect mine into that 2-4 perfectly fat and grizzle free bites leaving the majority of the steak over. Mom got tired of this and simply bought one less steak and took my left overs. It wasnt till my dating years started and I would get to dine at gf's houses with their folks I learned to be less picky.
Today I even eat insects, go figure?

yes, go figure. DS would only eat white food for several years and it had to be separated into separate place on the plate. Got better with years but still has to be not touching each other but no longer has to be white.
DH will eat things that never go together and at times makes me cringe at his combinations but I am used it it now.
Someone else is vegetarian because can't stand the feel of raw meat/chicken etc.

Interesting note today my local NYC SR raised the price of the Kodiak cakes mix which is on that coupon to 7.99 making not free but 1 dollar.

I forgot to mention at my SR today tried tor redeem the 9 dollar downtime dollar balance I clipped to my card before the 15th passed and it never came off on transaction so wondering if anyone else had same experience?
