I like to eat so long ago learned how to cook watching the Food Network sort of and truth be told if someone else offers to cook and I can just enjoy and eat then Imagonnadojustthat
All joking aside it is really easy to cook and only slightly harder to cook very well if you take the time to learn.
We eat so many chicken wings that those little pieces you cut off add up so I started freezing them to add to my bits and pieces when making Chicken stock that I started doing the same to shrimp shells because we buy a lot of those too. And while I will always laugh when accused of frugality it really is more in line with wanting to eat better and more fully enjoy what we eat. Sure sometimes a recipe bombs big time but at least my dog gets well fed those days

If you're doing this week's gift card promotion, check your receipt before leaving the store. It was not working at the store I shopped at this morning. Fortunately, CS gave me the $10 back in cash (they seemed to already be aware that it was an issue this morning.)

Also, check your Cat stash. I had a Cat for one free Always discreet liners or underwear up to $14, which are on sale for $11.99 this week. Bought those along with the $50 gift card, and last week's certificate went through with no issue with nothing else in the transaction. The free Cat required approval, likely due to the high value, so YMMV.

Cape Gourmet is a pretty good brand and a few weeks back SR had Mahi Mahi fillets on sale which was same brand and let me tell you these were among the best frozen fish fillets I ever bought and cooked and ate before. The only thing I avoid from Cape Gourmet are their shrimp which are farmed and have additives making them really not up to snuff anymore.
Keep on eye out for the Mahi Mahi at your store because they are well worth it

Dark Chocolate works. I bought three today at a different from my usual store. Only 3 on the shelf.
I've bought them recently with the other types and got my Cat each time. Maybe their Cat machine was down or the whole system? You could have had CS try to see if it came out of their machine. Did you get any cats at all? I haven't gotten many recently, but yesterday did get another one for the Coffeemate. $1.50 off when you buy 3. Not a deal for me, I bought some in that transaction and used the .50 insert coupons.

I had in addition 3 free item coupons plus a few other items and despite the SCO scanner ringing on the peelies the attendant overrided them and they became a MM. Also I should add I didnt realize there was a 2 dollar eq on the item but needed 2 sour creams for a recipe making and those were on sale so bought them and then saw the peelies so presented them

OK--I'll try again this week if they even have any. When this happened, I did go to CS and they re-did the transaction, but no Cat came out there either. Then we tried to check the Cat book they keep, and the offer wasn't in it (not unusual). So, I did exhaust options. No other Cats came out, but that's not unusual--I don't get many anyway, and as you said, they have seemed scarce recently. But now at least I know the dark hearts are working. Wish I had a copy of the notice, but I only had the one I found at S&S. If I had a copy of the notice, they probably would have given me the $3.75.

Re the Fage sour cream, every time this item has been on sale in my store, someone has torn off all the $.55 coupons--don't know if it would be employees or other customers. So good luck getting the coupons--even though you probably won't be able to combine with an ecpn. Still--get a R/C for the $2 price, and pay $.90 next time you need it.
