Bought 3 of the clorox on sale at 1.77 when you buy 3 since had 3 ips for 50 cents each. Also as I had a 3 dollar downtown credit on account picked up some red grapes at 1.29 a pound.
Unbeknownst to me there was a 1 dollar eq on Clorox. Since I have not even looked at available digitals since new policy went into effect I didnt realize it was clipped. First ip scanned at SCO no problem. Second beeped and attendant, who is very afraid to do anything unless a mgr oks was dumbfounded so a 2nd attendant looked and manually overrided coupon. Did same with 3rd but by then my balance entered -.04 cents territory and I silentedly cursed but he merely added 4 cents to my bill making balance due ZERO.
First experience wasnt at all painful but doubtful that would have happened without this particular attendant.

First thing I saw on the screen was $1 digital come off, then I think I saw another digital for .50. when my first coupon was scanned, it went through fine. the next 2 said no matching purchase found. I tried to explain but the cashier wouldn't cooperate and told me to pay and to talk to CS.
Went to CS and tried to explain. 2 clueless CS couldn't grasp the concept. asked their supervisor who knew even less and is very unpleasant as well, she refused to do anything. I asked for manager. who also couldn't understand the problem. by this time, I looked at my receipt and saw no .50 digital coming off, so I gave the mgr one IP. explained for the n th time what the problem was, 3 items only 2 coupons came off. He agreed, and gave me a $1 back. I asked him again to explain why as I already looked at my phone and couldn't find the $1 coupon that came off. nothing for clorox bleach. so he looked it up and it turns out it is for $1/2. that is why the second IP didn't come off.
so it seems that .50 ecoupon reversed itself when IP was scanned. to me this is good news. but the bad news is that if the coupon is for more than one item, like $1/2, it doesn't reverse itself.
and a lesson to check all ecoupons before making any purchases. or not clip them at all. or better yet, go elsewhere for grocery shopping, which is what I do now, only purchased 3 things today because they were well priced and wanted.
