How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

I have had cashiers get out the magnifying glass and read them. Then of course next comes out the phone or calculator, even if there is no digital. Many can't do the math. For example if an item is $1.79 and you have a $.75 coupon, they get out the calculator to make sure $.75 X 2 does not go above $1.79. I am not talking about young high school cashiers either.
Its not every cashier of course, but many do the above.
I for one will NOT be looking at each item and doing the math for each item before hand, checking if I have a digital and which is better or worse. That would be insane, because as we all know, not all digitals are programmed right or come off. Also some manufacturer's do not say DND, but don't double. So how would we know that without using the manufacturer regardless of having a digital. If their machine is going to be smart and decide, so be it.
When I go for deals, I will shop same way I do know, and if it takes longer, oh well.

At the very least it will discourage those who use more than one card.
The shelf clearing likely will improve a good deal however since most of that was people getting stuff to flip at flea markets and what not.

I see some awesome supers out of the Philly area. I mean really good ones.
I do remember years ago, way before digitals, some awesome deals, some without coupons at both ShopRite and Stop & Shop, and sometimes Weis. Most were at Stop &Shop, but I do remember some at ShopRite. Hoping something else will pop up.

I remember in my area in the 'hey day' before digital coupons were around, there were constantly $5 off $30, $10 off $40 type coupons around for ShopRite, PathMark, Giant, etc. Those dried up long ago for the most part, would be happy to see something like that return in the 'competition' wars.

I know for a fact from department managers that the shelf cleaners in my SR are people with small stores & their friends & relatives who has access to huge of amounts of insert coupons. They resell the products for a profit. They will continue this practice since the change in the digital coupon policy does not impact them & my store allows them to do this.
Has been very frustrating for a long time & now has only gotten worse for people like us in Sakar stores.

Also they limit 4 same coupons and cashier won't allow a second transaction with same coupons. Plus you better not get caught doing it again later because they will stop you if they know
If a FE person manages to see you using same coupons from even hours ago when they were on, and remembers it, I have personally seen them go up to customers and tell them they can't do another. Happened to person in line in front of me. This is only if FE person has to come over for something, but does happen.
They are so blindly focused on coupons that at SCO I was using one coupon (Attendant has to come over) and I made a non coupon related comment to her, and she responded with a comment about coupons and fraud etc. It was crazy and not related to what I was doing and did not have anything to do with what I said.
A bit sad I think.
My store is owned by CEO of Wakefern, so not sure if that has anything to do with it as I rarely see him there, but it might
