About an hour ago, I got a "for you" email with a $1/2 any Breakstones butter product e-q. I've seen it mentioned elsewhere in the couponing-verse, so y'all may want to check to see if you got it also.

ETA - on the phantom e-qs, I searched and searched yesterday before going and did NOT have a Poligrip e-q loaded. I needed it so did the deal anyway, and lo and behold, it came off on both cards.

I see, so when ShopRite adopts a policy that pretty much every other supermarket already is doing, they're in a downward spiral? LOL.

Let's remove coupons totally out of the equation, supposing we had to choose our grocery shopping based on who week to week has the best sales. ShopRite would win hands down in my area.

Let's face it, we've gotten spoiled. No company can sustain for long just 'paying' people to take products on MM deals. Someone is paying for it, SR or the manufacturer or a combo.

When you turn around and sell stockpiles at a garage sale, do you pay people to take your items?

While getting things for free or better is wonderful, often times those items I'm getting whether I'd ever use them or not just to enjoy the benefit of it, hopefully sell it or give it, or donate it someplace if I will never use it our home.

As long as I'm getting good overall deals on the stuff I REALLY use, paying 50%-100% less than shelf price, I'll live. It's not as much fun obviously, nor as profitable but in the grand scheme of things, it isn't the end of the world either.

In my experience, they do NOT work again if you used them before.

Conforming to what everybody else is doing takes away yet another differentiating factor that used to make me go out of my way to spend more at SR. Hundreds more. Competition drives the winner in retail and they will lose a lot of ancillary business driving quantity spending down, by the conforming you suggest they should be dong just to keep up. I think they should have focused first on keeping the number of cards allowed per person, per address, per confirmed mobile etc, to a minimum instead of taking away a perk like double dipping a store and manufacture coupon.

Those might be targeted email coupon offers because the other week we received emails with 1 dollar off4 Oikos Oh coupons which you clicked link in email to add to your clipped coupons from their site. But the coupon was not listed on site for you to click. Only through the email sent to us. I asked here if anyone else received in one of my posts but no one responded likely because it was added at end of a response to someone else's post.

I got an email for free Hersheys Easter candy. Clicked on the link, logged in and I don't see it anywhere.

Did you try to use the oikos eq and did it come off?

What I did was actually be first logged into my SR account which the email came too and then clicked the link inside the email and it came up to clip.
We didnt use it yet but will this week with sale for a dollar a piece and hopefully buying 4 with 4 ips will be a 1 dollar MM

One thing definitely comes to mind now with the looming change in SR policy about eq and ip combining.
Everyone who doesnt now ought to learn now how to print to a PDF file all coupons because I can not tell you how often we print a coupon hoping for a deal combining it with an eq only to have ip expire with use.
Ink is not cheap although we use recycled paper ( things we receive in mail etc with a blank backside) for printing coupons

Third party toner is inexpensive and lasts a long time. It's probably only a couple cents per page printed. Deals on printers and toner come around relatively frequently.
