How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.
WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

I see, so when ShopRite adopts a policy that pretty much every other supermarket already is doing, they're in a downward spiral? LOL.
Let's remove coupons totally out of the equation, supposing we had to choose our grocery shopping based on who week to week has the best sales. ShopRite would win hands down in my area.
Let's face it, we've gotten spoiled. No company can sustain for long just 'paying' people to take products on MM deals. Someone is paying for it, SR or the manufacturer or a combo.
When you turn around and sell stockpiles at a garage sale, do you pay people to take your items?
While getting things for free or better is wonderful, often times those items I'm getting whether I'd ever use them or not just to enjoy the benefit of it, hopefully sell it or give it, or donate it someplace if I will never use it our home.
As long as I'm getting good overall deals on the stuff I REALLY use, paying 50%-100% less than shelf price, I'll live. It's not as much fun obviously, nor as profitable but in the grand scheme of things, it isn't the end of the world either.
If not, then I will give more business to SnS/Giant, Walmart and Aldi. No biggie.
I am finding awesome deals at GiantPA almost weekly. Stop & Shop has had lots of clearance on name brands lately.
To be honest, I barely shop at ShopRite any more except for coupon freebies and some mfr and digital eq deals. I do pick up extra things we need while I am there, but if items are NOT on sale, their prices are same or more than other places around here.
I don't get up in the middle of the night to load digital eqs. ShopRite is the only store that has that issue for me of only putting out a few for those that are awake. I can load S&S and GiantPA eqs anytime when they come out and not worry about them disappearing like ShopRite.
I totally understand why they are stopping it. I also do know that locally many people perceive ShopRite as the best prices in town. I do agree they have some great sale prices at times, but for those that need more than just sale items, I often find regular everyday prices cheaper for what I buy at stop & shop or Walmart, which are across the street. Stop & shop sales are not always as good, but you would be surprised that some of their everyday prices here are better than regular price at ShopRite for stuff you need.

Typically for 'everyday' pantry type items w/o coupons/sales ALDI is best for me.
I try to play the sales as best I can, stock up as reasonable to tide me over until the next good sale. I also have some local produce stores which are my go to's for better everyday produce prices and now I have the free membership from Sams Club I got on that $45 back on $45 deal. So some things there too work out to be a good buy at times.
Suave .75/1 Body Wash Product (excludes twin packs and trial or travel) (4/20) 3/31RMN
Suave Lotion $1.69 After coupon, $.19 if coupon doubles, or $.94
Suave .75/1 Lotion Product (excludes twin packs and trial or travel) (4/14) 3/31RMN
If you bought this, could you please post if coupon/s double?
thanx

I don't think I should have been inconvenienced waiting an extra 5 minutes waiting time and overpaid an extra penny. I guess they are just trying to add to their case and looking for any way to do so. Why else would she have done that? I feel falsely accusing someone of taking advantage of the current system isn't the right way to add to their case.

Did she even try to scan the paper coupon before she called someone over? it should have scanned w/no issues.
Sometimes, they are penny wise (in your case literally) and dollar foolish. They'll hold up a line for 5 minutes to correct for a penny which costs them more in the long run with diminished productivity of how many customers a cashier can checkout in an hour.
It boggles my mind sometime to the extremes a store will take it thinking they are corporate do-gooders 'saving the company money'. LOL
I remember back when all the stores discontinued doubling $1 and up coupons--sometimes even $5 coupons back then. I thought it would be the end of great shopping. Even though I don't have all the apps you guys have (ibotta, etc.), I've still done OK. Just have to let it all shake out.

Where customers will have to be vigilant is where you buy multiples and have a digital coupon that applies to the sale of one and you're using paper Q's on the others. There, at least the ones that don't have digitals on them should go through.
I'm used to this already at Acme and Giant by me, so can't say I'm shocked.
OR, seeing how completely inept SR's IT department has been at times, nothing will change at all!

Now my thoughts is that it stinks we can't double dip anymore but hey we had a few years of no one caring when they probably should have. Shoprite will be fine and I hope with Aldi/Lidl/Walmart pricing wars make name brand manufacturers start giving out better coupons or else they will continue to lose market share.
