I can still use Qs at SCO, it's just a tortured process now. And I have to break up the cart into 15 items at a time, b/c there is no more long belt for big orders.
I still prefer it to the cashiers, who are *always* difficult, and where I invariably miss a coupon that doesn't come off or a wrong price, because I'm so busy bagging or loading onto the conveyer.
Last weekend the cashier scanned a bag of pretzels twice. I'm still pissed off about that - I didn't discover it until the next day, and I live 30 minutes from the store, so totally not worth a special trip, and how do you prove a negative anyway?
Two weeks ago, got charged for one extra mouthwash, last week got charged for an extra yogurt and this week the cashier did not scan two of my coupons. This week was the last straw and I complained mightily to management about the quality of their cashiers through the store surveys.
I wish I could use SCO, but my orders are just too big.
I urge everyone to please look at your receipts and if there is a problem, make sure you complain via the store survey.

Funny, for the longest time, my SR wouldn't allow you to scan your own coupons (this is a store that has been tripling coups in the area for years now). Last year or so, they started allowing it again up to a limit of 15 or something...I guess they got tired of the hassle of having the one 'supervisor' having to input everyone's coupons. The scanners are awful though with my IP's and they take some effort to scan.
