How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

Nice Savingstar Double Dips:

Dimetapp $5.60 total mm for me with overage, and IBOTTA and SStar.

Date Redeemed Store Product Value Offer Details
02/10/2019 ShopRite Big G Cereals $1.00
02/10/2019 ShopRite Children's Advil®, Infants' Advil®, Children's Robitussin®, or Dimetapp® Product $3.00
02/10/2019 ShopRite Adult Robitussin® product $3.00
Did you activate the offer on Savingstar first or clip the ShopRite ecoupon first? I clipped the ecoupon first and did not get SS credit. In the past I've only gotten the double dip activating the SS offer prior to clipping the ecoupon.

Costs of doing biz is much more in NYC than many of the suburban areas. There was a time, years ago when stores in NYC doubled Q's, but that is old history now. Best advice, move.
I would love to get the lower prices from smaller cities/suburbs, but can't move for a variety of reasons, that's why the pulling of the eq's stung so much, as I'm sure any shopper at a NYC SR will tell you.

Too much of a risk to wait to clip eq's, as the eq's may be pulled after redemptions have maximized, by the time S* offers appear.

Is anyone else missing a bunch of digital coupons? I know there was an issue on Sunday but now I'm missing the Schick, Clairol, L'oreal Elvive? They didnt expire...could they just pull them midweek?

You have to click on the "coupon history"tab for them all to show.

I lived in NYC for 15 years so I can totally understand. But as it is with any other location, the deals will come around again. 😄 I didn't even have the option of SR until recently. I suppose while I was living in NYC, I had no space for stockpile anyways.

I think for sure the cost of doing business impacts the deals in NYC but another strong driver of deals is competition and we used to have Shoprite, Pathmark, Waldbaums, Western Beef,Key Food and then Kingkullen before StopNShop bought all the Waldbaums and Pathmark went belly up and StopNShop took most of their locations as well.
We regularly had weeks of triple coupons and the deals were much better with all the competition but now the only real major players here in my part of NYC are SR and SNS. Triples are ancient history and all of our deals are usually never as good as mentioned here along with the Super coupons never being as cheaply priced or abundant. This almost totally is a result of the drop in competition.
Think about the inner city are where bodegas are abundant. Virtually zero competition and you pay alot of what we usually get for free or cheaply.
So yeah taxes and rent and payroll and utilities along with a huge drop in competition

Think you're being a little dramatic, the 'new' offers are typically the first ones you scroll to on SStar, and usually no more than 5-10 new ones at a time, so you just quickly click all of the unchecked ones and you're done with it. The ones in question are never ShopRite ones that have been maxed out (like Tena), we are talking the meds like Robitussin, Dimetapp, ThermaCare, Centrum, etc.

If you know there's a good chance of double dip, just clip the obvious ones at SR like Tena that go quickly and save the rest for a later 'clipping' after the new Savingstars are up on Sunday AM.

As usual, SUCHaDEAL has uncanny success with the SavingStar double dips laugh out loud Dimetapp did not credit for me - didn't last month either. I'll have to do that one at Target.

Other deals...

The ShopRite here still had a ton of the "while supplies last" Adult Robitussin marked down to $3.24.

Simply Protein bars are on sale for $1.29 here. They're not in the local stores' SRFH, but they have a few varieties on the shelf. There's a $0.75/1 SavingStar offer and a $1/2 Ibotta offer (YMMV - looks like some have $0.50/1), and I found a $1/2 tearpad coupon at Stop & Shop on a freestanding display, for a $0.17 MM. Unfortunately, I was incorrectly charged tax on them in NJ. The chocolate chip baked bar contains rice flour, so it shouldn't be taxed.

The $0.50/1 Francesco Rinaldi IPs from the beginning on the month do not double. It's still not a bad deal with the ecoupon and IP if you printed through SwagBucks, since you'll get the extra $0.25 back for coupon redemption. ($1.39 - $0.50 ecoupon - $0.50 IP - $0.25 SwagBucks back = effectively $0.14)

My personal frustration stems from my local SR in NYC always charging at least 20-50% more than the prices listed here, let alone allowing a q to ever double, so on the rare occasion that there would be a MM as it would've been with Oxiclean and Shicks had the eq's actually clipped, along with the printable q , one has to vent to keep sane. Also, why would SR say they are working on the issue, unless they call removing an eq resolving the issue?

Curios which store in NYC?
