Curious why we need this over normal detergent. Are people rolling around in the swamp or something?

I've been lurking on the laundry, subReddit, and they're always talking about this stuff! Excited to finally try it. Great deal.

It's all a matter of degree. Some detergents are completely void of enzymes, some include certain enzymes and not others. DNase is very hard to find in particular. This product can be used on your most disgusting laundry. It will not make your dark colors fade. It is used sparingly, so it's economical.Another great product to try is Biz. Available at Walmart for about $6.

I've been using my tide for decades, separating my colors, hang drying. Will this up my laundry game? Or does this product/enzyme have a different use case?

I've been hanging around the laundry subreddit too and saw people gushing over this when they added Dnase, which I believe if you're using Tide, is the ONLY enzyme Tide doesn't have, so I tried it, especially since I have a lot of workout clothes. I'll be honest -- underwhelmed. Tide apparently does a decent job already because I added this (and it's been quite a few loads, two scoops, soaking time, etc) and I have to say....I have not noticed anything much different. Maybe if your washes don't come out quite as clean as you expect, you could try this and see if it helps, but if you're generally happy -- this is NOT the miracle worker that people seem to claim it is.
