Snagged one thanks! Missed out on this last year around this time and regretted it since. Have a lot of Greenworks 24V tools thus extra batteries so works out great for me.
Reviews of this from previous SD threads people seemed highly satisfied. I added the stick vac metal filter to get above $100 for free shipping.
I have this and agree it is a great vacuum. I can't remember if I mentioned this on the last thread or not, but just a heads-up: for whatever reason, this only works properly with the "digital" battery that comes with it.
Standard 24V tool batteries will fit and seem to work at first, but the vacuum shuts off after about a minute. I have a lot of tools in the 24V line and was hoping to swap extra packs in, but when I contacted Greenworks support, they confirmed standard tool batteries aren't supported.
What my research found:the bundled "digital" USB-C pack has extra communication pins that talk directly to the handle display to report runtime and stats. The vacuum keeps looking for that data handshake, and when standard tool packs can't provide it, the vacuum treats it as a fault and cuts power.
