It is not a Dutch oven. It is a deep casserole.
Even though the capacity is smaller than the 7 qt Dutch oven — which is their de facto Dutch oven model — this pot is taller, so there is less available cooking surface.
Functionally, probably not too much difference, but this is not quite the same as what Le Creuset actually calls a Dutch oven.
