if they're so great, how come so many refurbished? And there's so many different models. And looks like they're making knock offs too. Will there be better prices in the upcoming sale holidays? Will we use it much when the house is already cold and expect a pretty cold winter? ... yeah I ask a lot of questions, just wanna know if anyone has any thoughts that might help me decide… Thanks!

Having bought one from woot refurbished, I have a very strong conviction that they have this annoying unfixable bug where the unit does not turn on properly and must be power cycled by unplugging it and plugging it back in. I think it's pervasive across the deluxe line, and can't be fixed so they just accept returns and send them back out as refurbs. I just leave mine unplugged until I want to use it.
