This game was unfairly compared to Breath of the Wild. They are both Open World, but this is not a clone. I enjoyed the equivalent to what you would consider to be "shrines" more than Breath of the Wild because I found them to be more challenging and requiring more thought. They tend to be longer in length and take some thinking to get through later in the game.The biggest down side is the story. The script isn't great, and the voice acting is annoying to the point that I just gave up on it and skipped everything. The overall plot is good, it's just so annoying executed.To be clear, Zelda is the superior game, but this was a great game that was viewed critically online to some degree. It has its fans, and I do wish they hadn't cancelled a sequel, but this franchise is likely never coming back.

Liked this game a lot but I also had low expectations going in. Might be the kind of game that grows on you despite its silliness. I ended up 100%'ing it along with all the dlc too (all without a guide but some parts are challenging without). Tons of well thought out puzzles if you like that style. It's no Zelda game but I haven't played the more modern ones if I'm being honest lol.

I loved this one. I'm sad it never found a strong audience as I thought it was a really fun experience.

At this price it's a no-brainer. It is an Ubisoft game, for better or worse. Open world, tons of collectables, tons of POIs on the map, etc. I've seen it described as baby's first AC and I guess I get that comparison - again this is Ubisoft. But I found it to be very fun. Good combat. Story is alright, and as another poster said, the voice acting is a little annoying. For example, Zeus is basically a goofball.

I played this as part of Ubisoft+, which I paid for in order to get AC Shadows. I enjoyed it enough that I am now going to buy it to play some more.

I've been a console gamer for over 45 years. This is the only game that I ever got every Xbox achievement and trophy for the PS4 and PS5 lists. Could not get enough of this game. I owned breath of the wild, and it stayed sealed while I played this. Ended up selling the switch without playing BOTW. This game clicked for me.
