9V are primarily used in low current draw applications. Example: smoke alarm. Where the battery is expected to last 5-10 years!!!! But rechargeable batteries generally have a hard time with self-discharge and will decline in 1-2 years.
Just put in an alkaline battery for a 10 year application.
Unless you've got some special device that uses a 9V but needs to have the battery changed every month, there is just no point in a rechargeable 9v
