How? It's $0.35/W. Seems to be on the low end of panel pricing, for new panels. Nothing beats getting used takeoffs for $20/each though, in the rare situations such shows up near you.

DIY Solar forum. Will Prowse on youtube are fantastic resources. Honestly if your starting out even a small system has big benefits. I'm only powering my AC units with a small system and its already saving me money

Depends on how handy you are, but I found it pretty easy to setup a 3.5kw system, which cut my power bill by 60%, and I am able to use most things without it. You will need a hybrid controller, ideally one that can work on and off grid with or without batteries. This system will need a 18kw box.
