I was actually going to get one until I saw how much electricity it uses.

13 watts? GTFO of here. That costs a ton of money running 24/7 on my desk. Electricity prices here in Bay Area are among the highest in the world.

I assume that's at max brightness and all white (which on this is all 3 colors since there's no standalone white chip). Anyways, expect it to use 2-3 watts under normal usage.
