Furthermore the second layer of material is cotton which is a terrible material for getting wet.
I suspect that these will be fine for walking around town and shoveling snow, and at an excellent price for that. But don't use them if you think your gloves are going to get wet or if the temperatures are really going to dip, especially in critical environments like ski resorts or the backcountry.
