looks like you have to be on ultimate plan, which is 15$ more before taxes than next plan. not worth it, it is best to skip

This is not a deal, the cheapest myPlan is $65 and its a over 36 months.

You can get a Visible+ Pro plan for 225 for the first year right now. You are basically paying for the $1200 phone or more through an over-priced phone plan.

We are about $200 away from paying off my wife's 15 PM on a similar plan. There's no chance in hell I'm signing up for another 3-year contract (call it what you want - if you can't walk away with it without it hitting you in the wallet, it's a contract). Putting a new battery in my own 15 PM tomorrow and let's see what the 20th anniversary brings next year.

Also, Verizon is still charging activation fees for existing customers (oh, but they are screaming from the rooftops about how they've "evolved" and are now waiving them for the existing ones) and they are still locking the devices for 60 days, even if you pay full price. Screw that.

And you can't unlock for overseas travel within 36 months like all other postpaid carriers where you can only pay for their "international day pass" correct?

You can. That's the 60-day lock, once that time passes, you can request the phone be unlocked and you can use it freely overseas. I've gotten around it by changing my plan to the one that includes international roaming, then switching back when I return (in fact, it was one of their Executive desk employees who turned me on to it when I called to bitch about the 60-day lock on a phone I just paid $1400 for), but who knows when they'll close that loophole.
