Looks like they are unloading more m12 6.0s which don't have a good track record for reliability. Hold on to receipt so you can go off the purchase date rather than the older serial number date if you have battery problems.

surge will out perform this. these subcompacts are great for light duty. The drill is light duty only.

Depends on the use case. As another user said, this is for light duty only, but when it comes to the compact footprint, nothing beats it.

This isn't some limited production run of tools that's in high demand. It's pretty much the lowest entry point for a Milwaukee power tool. Fake OOS to drive up demand on a mass produced DIY level tool makes zero sense...
