At 1.15w of solar, it would take over 40hrs of peak sunlight to charge this up. Solar on batteries like this is primarily a gimmick. But it's a decently sized battery for the price if it's what you're looking for

I can confirm this. I have an older version/brand that is like this, and the solar panel would take forever to charge. I was also worried about the heat in direct sunlight as well. better off with a small portable solar panel that you can charge this with.

useless gimmick, I had similar and the battery died without being charged with solar
